Rural Financing

We help farmers to diversify and business owners to expand their operations by helping them with rural finance facilities.

Rural financing helps businesses source funding out-with traditional agricultural finance. People often associate buying ploughs, combine harvesters etc with farming. But log cabin holiday parks, caravan sites and equestrian centres as being “rural” businesses.

If you are looking for a rural finance facility to expand your farm or local business, we can arrange finance for:

  • Farm Shops
  • Rural Land
  • Farm Machinery
  • Buildings & Sheds
  • Log Cabins
  • Food Processing
  • Glasshouses
  • Caravan & Camping Sites
  • Outdoor Activity Centres
  • Cat & Dog Kennels
  • Wind Turbines & Solar Panels
  • Fisheries & Livestock
  • 4x4 Vehicles
  • Vertical Farms

Types of Rural Finance

Hire Purchase

HP is perfect for customers who want to own the equipment at the end of the agreement.

After paying a small deposit you then pay monthly payments over an agreed period.

Once the terms of the agreement have been met, full ownership is transferred to you.

Loans

A rural business loan is one of the simplest options.

The loan amount, repayment period and terms are agreed between you and the lender.

Business loans can be secured or unsecured. Unsecured loans often require a personal guarantee whereas, secured loans are valued against existing assets you own.

Contract Hire

Contract hire is based on a fixed term contract.

A business, or you as an individual, pay an agreed monthly charge for the use of a vehicle or equipment for an agreed period of time.

When the contract ends, you simply return the item or arrange a new contract for another one.

Asset Refinance

Release cash quickly from existing assets that you own.

A rural finance company will purchase the asset from you (vehicles, machinery etc.), then finance them back to you at an agreed rate and term.

This releases immediate working capital for you to invest elsewhere.

Finance Leasing

Leasing can give you access to the latest equipment.

Leasing is another simple way to get access to new equipment.

You rent the item from a finance company for an agreed period of time. At the end of the agreement, simply return the item, extend the lease or buy it from the finance company.

Mortgages

Rural mortgages can be used to buy property or land.

Specialist rural mortgage lenders offer shorter terms of 2 – 5 years for land purchases.

If you want to buy a farm or smallholding, many lenders offer longer terms (up to 25 years) as well as  bridging loan facilities.

Rural Asset Finance

If you want to invest in new farm equipment, purchase more land or if you are looking for sustainable energy sources such as wind farms, solar panels or ground source heat pumps, rural asset finance may be the option for you.

You can unlock the value in your existing assets today to fund new machinery or projects by contacting Evangate Financial Services.

Credit Rating

We can arrange finance for most rural businesses no matter their financial history. If you have an adverse credit rating, contact us to see how we can work with you.
